Hi i am Josh and i am from Britain. Britain was invloved because when germany invaided blegium in world war 1 because Britain and Germany competed for the strongest navy. The rise of militarism saw a great powers expand their armies and navies creating an arms race that further increased suspicions and made war more likely. Distrust led the freat powers to sign treaties pledging to defend one another. Britain has the world's biggest empire. Germany rivals Britain for industral powers but they still are number one. when i was in France the archduke was driving around the city and the black hands were there trying to kill him. One of them through a bomb and he forgot that it took a second to go off and it didn't go off untill the archduke was to fair away from the bomb for him to get hit. Sot then the people that got hurt by the bomb the archduke was going to go visit them at the hospital and there driver took a wrong turn and went into this other street and one of the black hands was on the road that he was on and the black hand shot him and it didnt hit him it hit his wife and then he died after that.
My country Britain came down to Russia and all those places because Germany wanna to start a war and we didnt like it so we went down to try to stop then so they wouldnt win the war. When Russia left the war and USA came into it, it really affected use because it was us aganist them and we couldnt win because they also had better weapons than us. Prime Minister of Britain wnated Germany to be punished " maked Germany Pay" adn "squeeeze them until the pips squeak" were popular slogans, b Lolyd George believed that: Germany should not be treated too harshly it would only lead to more trouble in the future. Germay should be allowed to recover. France should not be allowd to take the Rhineland. Lloyd George waa only prepared to make the Rhinkand "demilitarized"
Living through the war was no fun at all because you could never sleep because we were living in trinches and somtimes there were right next to outr enmys so that was never any fun. Then when we would get up and start fighting again it is very dangerous because you could die at any second of the day and that is never a good feeling to have.
While I was in the war I was there during christmas time and it was really hard not to get to sped time with my family so what we did we took a day off fighting with our enemy and we played soccer and we ate together and everything. Then the day after that we all started fighting again and the people that i talked to and things like that i didnt want to kill them because they are really nice people and they miss there family as much as i do and i wouldnt want to kill him. So thats how i spend my christmas at war.
After the war was fianly over i went back home to see my family and they were all there waiting for me all my family. They had change alot of the years but i had them on my mind they whole time i was there but it was really different being home and every thing havent seen them forever. So the first few weeks that i have been home have been so hard seeing the images about the war never really could sleep at all it was really bad. My family asked me questions all the time about the war but i dont like to answer them i just dont like to talk about what i have been throug its really sad and bad images.
